The sprites are a group of small humanoids with the ability to fly. They were created by The Combined Elementals to protect their creations however a few types (namely Fairies and Gremlins) have deviated from this path in pursuit of playing tricks on the unwary. They all have the ability to instinctively manipulate the ether which they use to defend themselves and play tricks.
